Have a pipe of your own that needs some love? I give customers’ pipes the same care I give the ones I sell, whether it’s a Dr. Grabow or a Dunhill. If it needs a good cleaning, fresh wax or a full restoration, let me know any time.
What a restoration includes
- A deep clean of the bowl, shank and stem, inside and out, down to every crack and crevice
- Gentle buffing to remove old oils, dust and tired wax
- Multiple coats of carnauba wax, hand-polished until it feels just right
- Stems hand-polished and treated with obsidian oil to prevent oxidation, sometimes 1–2 hours on a stem alone
- Optional food-grade bowl coating to help with break-in (takes 2 days to cure)
Repairs
Serious repairs get an honest look first. I’ll only take on work I’m very confident doing, and I’ll tell you up front if I’m not.

Email me a few photos of your pipe and what you’d like done, and I’ll reply with what it needs. Replies come during normal business hours; I’m closed on weekends, but I answer when I can.
